How much does it cost to stay overnight at the Maja Chalet?

The holiday home is designed for 10-12 people.
The base price for up to 4 people is €525 per night - each additional person pays €95 per night (valid outside of peak season).
The minimum stay is 2 nights. A 10% discount applies to stays of 7 nights or more.
For a customized offer, please send us your request via the booking form.

Should you be interested in just one overnight stay or in accommodation for 2 or up to 12 people, a corresponding offer can be made depending on availability.

Base price for 4 people/night - €525

Each additional person/night - €95

Children up to 2 years old/night - €0

Children aged 3-6 years/night - €65

Dog/night - €20

Cot (one-time fee) - €15

+ Final cleaning (one-time fee) - €195

10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more.

The house is also available for team events, TV shoots, photo shoots, or cooking events. Make Maja Chalets the unique location for your occasion.

Are there any cleaning or additional costs?

A one-time cleaning fee of €195 will be charged.

Charding fee of electric vehicle €50.

What are the cancellation policies?

Deadline for free cancellation: 42 days before arrival.
50% refund up to 30 days before arrival.

Please understand that in the event of a cancellation 14 days prior to arrival or in case of early departure, we will charge 100% of the rental price. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.

Are pets allowed?

We love pets and therefore welcome all furry friends to our holiday home. For dogs, we have completely fenced in one of the two large meadows in our garden. This ensures a relaxing stay for dog lovers and a great place for our furry companions to run around. :)

We charge €20 per dog per night.

Out of consideration for subsequent guests:
We kindly ask you to let your pets sleep on a cushion you bring with you and would appreciate it if the four-legged friends did not stay on beds or other seating.

If it is discovered during the final cleaning that dogs were on the couch or in the bed, the additional costs will be deducted from the security deposit.

Are parties allowed in holiday homes?

Please note that planning parties or using the holiday home as a party venue is not permitted. Of course, we understand the desire for spontaneous and fun evenings with family and friends, and the holiday home will be cleaned after each stay.
Nevertheless, we ask that you refrain from escalating parties in order to avoid unnecessary damage and, above all, the effort involved in disposing of party waste and waste glass.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a pleasant stay for all subsequent guests.

Check-in and check-out

Arrival time: earliest 3:00 PM

Departure: no later than 10:00 a.m.

You will receive further details about check-in before your arrival. :) We look forward to welcoming you soon.

Depending on availability, early check-in from 10:00 AM or late check-out until 3:00 PM can be booked upon request. The cost is €100.

Down payment and final payment + security deposit + additional costs

Deposit: 50% upon booking.
Final payment: 4 weeks before arrival

Please note that short-notice bookings must be paid in full immediately and partial payments are not possible.

The security deposit of €800, as well as the remaining balance, must be transferred to us 4 weeks before arrival. This will be refunded directly to you after your stay.

Depending on availability, it may also be possible to book additional guests or nights during your stay. Please contact us in advance to discuss the details.

Excursion destinations for young and old

The towns of Prüm and Trier, as well as the proximity to Belgium and Luxembourg, offer a wide range of excursion destinations and cultural discoveries. In winter, the ski lifts in the Wolfsschlucht gorge and at the Schwarzer Mann mountain attract enthusiastic winter sports enthusiasts, while in summer numerous cycling and hiking trails wind through the Eifel region.
